RON SUPPORTING COMMUNITY​

​We’ve been fatefully affected by two events over the past week. Spanish Valencia was swept away by water, and our beloved dog Ron left us. Ron, our little gangster, spent his first 7 months of life on his own in the garden of the house where his owners didn’t want him. As luck would have it, an advert making its way through the firmament let him to Asturias, where he found a loving home and a soul mate. As for me, he jumped into my life only two years ago, but he etched his own spot in my heart just as fast as he chases wild boars and a chorizo someone might be hiding in his pack a mile away. He was a mountaineer body and soul, jumping around the Picos de Europa like a natural-born park ranger. He loved fine delicacies, and he happily supplemented his home-cooked meals by indulging in leftovers near the dumpster and excrement in the sand dunes. He was a hero even on the day he died – he brought us to a final farewell breakfast at his favourite café, then dug a hole behind his house under his favourite tree to pass away peacefully...

This great puppy dog soul will remain in our hearts forever, and his legacy lives on. It’s now up to us to send help in his name where it’s needed. Especially to flood-ravaged Valencia, where many canine souls also suffer. They have no food, no roof over their heads, some are lost in the confusion, swept away by the water, without a master... We’ve bought them beds, leashes, kibble, and canned food. We realized that Ron was watching us from dog heaven when we were buying the canned food. The only ones available were the ones with wild boar meat. Ron loved wild boar, the smell of it made him absolutely crazy with passion. We took this as a sign that it all makes sense.

 

This is why we’re adding another RON SUPPORTING COMMUNITY appeal for wild help from Asturias, where Ron lived his beautiful life, for his washed-away friends from Valencia. And that won't be all. :) We will send more help in the name of the RON SUPPORTING COMMUNITY to the shelter in Asturias to the canine souls that nobody wants... These include senior dogs, retired hunters, sick dogs, abandoned dogs, and more

 

We will give 20% of the profits from every WLDLWK order until the end of the year to support these defenceless dog souls. Thank you for being part of this this with us. May you wear our garments beautifully, with a slightly better feeling in your own soul. :)

Out of love for the souls of dogs. MELVIN, a Boston terrier who loved life. With the soul of a nomad, an adventurer with the spirit of a Tasmanian devil and the world’s first Boston terrier to play freestyle frisbee competitively. A dog who will remain my kindred spirit for life. A dog who inspired many people with his unflagging energy. The positive power of his spirit wants to entertain the world, wants to keep giving joy and laughter. Melvin’s legacy lives on in the MELVIN SUPPORTING COMMUNITY.

In his old age, Melvin exchanged his beloved Frisbee for a red ring, which has become a symbol of protection for the defenceless. The Bostoncube circus goes to the aid of wild hearts in need. Therefore, CZK 200 from every sale of an item in the limited-edition MELVIN SUPPORTING COMMUNITY collection is donated to the Hospice and Shelter for Elderly Dogs. Because every innocent soul who does not have the good fortune to live peacefully at home deserves a dignified old age, patient provision of care and love.

WE PROTECT SEA TURTLES

From every item sold, CZK 50 is donated to the organisation www.morskezelvy.cz for saving turtles from poachers in Indonesia. Poachers callously plunder nests and sell the eggs on the black market for CZK 25. Fortunately, they can be outbid. The cost to the conservationists of transferring and hiding one egg in safety is CZK 50. Every WLDWLK item sold thus becomes a lifeline for one turtle, which can hatch in peace and return to the sea. You can wear WLDWLK with the feeling that you have a kindred spirit swimming in the sea. Maybe you will meet someday.
